How to Use ID Photo Maker
- Upload a photo — click the drop box, drag a file in, or paste with Ctrl/⌘+V.
- Pick a size preset — 22×32 mm, one-inch 25×35 mm, 33×48 mm China visa, 35×45 mm EU passport, 51×51 mm US passport, or enter a custom size in millimetres.
- Choose DPI — 300 for standard print, 600 for high-resolution print.
- Remove the background with AI (optional) — turn on AI cutout, pick the Fast (MediaPipe) or Precise (MODNet) model, then choose a red, blue, white, light-grey or custom background colour.

How pixel dimensions are calculated
Print size in millimetres is converted to pixels with the formula px = mm ÷ 25.4 × DPI. A 35×45 mm EU passport photo at 300 DPI becomes 413×531 px; at 600 DPI it becomes 827×1063 px. The crop is taken from your photo at full source resolution, then scaled to these exact pixels, so the output stays sharp for print.
